Oh yeah! :w00t: "Ya me subi!" as we say in spanish. I'm not generally very proud of the images I make, they're always very far away of the initial intention I had. But this time! All the stars were perfectly aligned, the painting turned out exactly as I desired :evillaugh: I still don't manage to understand how the hell I archieved such thing :O
hehe... anyway, I used a lot, and I mean a lot of new techniques to draw this thing. First of all, I barely used any "normal" brush of photoshop. The clouds for example, were made with a high scattered level brush, that way, I only needed to make a stroke in order to get a fully realistic cloud  ! (Hehe, I don't even want to think how can anyone do such thing on traditional media :D The computer rocks :headbang: !)
The water splashes and waves were the most dificult part. I remembered something someone around here told me once: water its made of tiny drops. yeah, rather obvious :slow:, but its a very helpful philosophy. Brushes made of lots of tiny drops are perfect to simulate splashing water :D ; another thing I discovered, was that using a flat brush its essential in the painting of waves. All you got to do its to paint a dark blue background, and then use the flat brush to iluminate the bright side of the waves with ondulating movements. They magicaly appear in front of your eyes :omg: ! Smudging a lot also helps :)
Anyway, there were lots of new methods in this one. But the most important thing I learned, was that being able to take risks when drawing makes all the difference... Its always very hard to try to draw anything you haven't done before. "I'm gonna fail, its gonna see awful" and toughts like that. But once you surpass your initial fear and decide to try it, you may realize it was not as hard as you thought :D . Also, you can always erase it if you didn't like it! Nobody will know it :D (hehe... I just felt like a nun saying the lesson of the day... :puke: Ugh! the taste its still in my mouth! *spits*)

So, that's basicly it! Photoshop cs2, wacom tablet (naw, I didn't bought one, I just borrowed from my mom's computer :O), like 7 hours of work, and tons, tons of layers :D.
(oh, yeah... I almost forgot: What the hell is that green thing comming out of the sea? :O mmhhh.... Well... who cares =P ! at the end, that's your job as the viewer :D , right? )
